This would be done in conjunction with the owner and manager.
The dedicated intent of the farm is to give exquisite horse care and to achieve the highest performance level attainable in a fair integrous environment.
This person must be savvy, have some psychological training or personal background in it, be skilled in conflict resolution, and the compassionate yet firm setting of boundaries.
The goal of this position is to create enough coherence in the barn environment that the owner can enjoy being in the barn with her horses and have enough space and support to excel in her riding and training of the horses.
This person must be skilled in helping people feel heard even if they are not going to get what they want.
They must also convey appreciation when appropriate.
The ability to maintain one's own grounding in a constant sea of projection and misperception will be essential.
We have some great staff.
Everyone has a shadow.
A large part of this position is managing the shadow behaviors of the staff.
This position is approximately 15 to 20 hours per week.
The hours are flexible and varied based on the needs of the farm.
A few of the hours while we are in Pennsylvania can be remote if necessary.
While our home base is in Ocala, FL, we are currently in Cochranville, PA.
If we find you in Pennsylvania and you are the right person for the job but do not want to relocate in November when we head back to Ocala, you can do some of the job remotely but we would be asking you to travel to Ocala Florida anywhere from once to twice a month for 7-10 days at a time.
Compensation:
$24-$28/hour DOE Loyalty to the owner and her vision is essential.
Disagreements are fine but must be worked out between the HR manager and the owner exclusively.
